QoR COLORS

QoR colors watercolors are owned by Golden Artist Colors. QoR watercolors have deep, rich colors using an exclusive binder called Aquazol, that provides more pigment in every brushstroke, while retaining the best qualities of traditional watercolors.  These  paints can also be used with other watercolors.There are 83 colors in the collection that includes 3 Iridescent colors, as well as masking fluid and various mediums.  The paints can be used on a wide range of surfaces.  Paints can be purchased by the single tube or in sets.

DANIEL SMITH WATERCOLORS

Daniel Smith Extra Fine watercolors are renown for the vibrancy and consistency of their hues, many of which are unique to the company. A professional quality line of 259 colors includes the distinctive PrimaTek and Luminescent collections. Specifically mined minerals are the basis of many of the PrimaTek pigments, and though most are low or non-staining, almost all portray striking granulating and sedimentary properties. There are 30 different colors in the PrimaTek line, from the tropically blue-green Amazonite Genuine to the stormy, navy-grey Zoisite Genuine. Adding the dimensionality of reflected light and a pearl-like luster to painting, the Luminescent collection can be used alone or mixed with other watercolors.  When viewed straight on, the Luminescents have a muted, pastel-like appearance on paintings, but their color and refractions change with every slight difference in viewpoint.  These reflective properties of the paint are due to the addition of microscopic flakes of transparent mica coated with refractive metal oxide. In addition to selling the colors singly, there are sets of 12 colors in a theme, such as: Floral, Blues, Earth.  Also in the watercolor collection are the watercolor sticks.  They come in 51 colors and can be used directly as a watercolor stick or used with water as paint.  The sticks are concentrated – each stick is equal to 3 full pans of watercolor!

M GRAHAM & CO

M Graham & Co is committed to being environmentally friendly while producing an excellent product.  Their watercolors are made with Northwest blackberry honey as the binder, like what has been historically done.  This makes for strong, true colors.  There are 70 colors in the collection.

M GRAHAM GOUACHE

M Graham Gouache paints are made in the USA and are environmentally friendly in both manufacture and use.  Their only ingredients are high quality pigments, gum arabic and honey.  They are lightfast and solvent free.  Because they have no fillers, the opacity of the paints can be easily controlled.  the collection comes in 35 colors.

HEAVY BODY

This acrylic paint is smooth, butter and has a thick consistency.  The paint has no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners or dyes.  It is only the highest grade pigment with 100% acrylic emulsion.  That means the paint is permanent and lightfast.  It comes in the full 116 colors.  We stock the entire color line.

FLUID

Fluid paints have an even flowing consistency similar to heavy cream.  It has the same pigment load as the Heavy Body paints.  It is the perfect paint for pouring, smooth and dry brush applications. Works well with all the gels and mediums. Fluid comes in 68 colors.

HIGH FLOW

High flow has an ink like consistency.  It works great for airbrushing, filling paint markers and using a dip pen.  It can work anywhere you want a thin consistency.  it comes in 52 colors.

OPEN

OPEN is designed to be very slow drying.  The kind of slow drying unique to oil paints.  Its consistency is a little softer than the Heavy body paints.  It is even suitable for some printmaking. It comes in 75 colors.  The pigments are the same high quality, concentrated pigment as Golden’s other acrylic paints.

FABER CASTELL

Faber Castell is known for its excellent quality in the art supply market. Their line of colored pencils is no exception. They are known for gluing the lead to the pencil for the whole length of the pencil, not spot gluing.The pencils come in a wide variety of colors and can be purchased from Lynn’s singly or in sets. of 12, 24, 60 and 120 colors.

We also carry WATER SOLUABLE COLORED PENCILSs  singly and in sets.  You use them as you would regular colored pencils, but when you add water to the pencil marks they behave as water color paints.  Extend you creativity with this fun option!

PRISMACOLOR

Prismacolor is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year making their Soft Core colored pencils!  The colored pencils have thick leads and the lead has a soft core that makes it easy to use and possible to get intense color results.  We sell them singly and in sets of 12, 24, 36, 48 .

PRISMACOLOR also has a line of VERY THIN colored pencils to get those fine details .   They, too come singly and in sets.  They also have a line of WATER SOLUABLE PENCILS. We carry these fine pencils in sets only.
